Tangible or Technological?
I'm tangible. I have to touch, see, smell, etc. Technology is great, however; not always dependable. I need the security of the "real thing". I'm so "pen and paper". Hence, the disaster my desk looks like. I always have great intentions of combining all of my little pieces of paper into one notebook so that everything looks better. It never seems to fail though that when I tidy up, I can't find a darn thing. I know I should rely more on my computer and my "smart" phone, but; I'm not convinced that they are secure enough. I mean secure in a way that one day they aren't going to DIE on me and I'll be left with a heap of metal and wires that once held every precious tidbit of information that was important to me. It scares me to death that these pieces of technology hold a large amount of my life in photographs. Who can afford to print them all out? Another thing is, the technology is always changing. You save your pictures on disks, and then those type of disks are obsolete. What to do then? Who can keep track of transferring everything BEFORE technology expires? I have photos from when my parents and grandparents were children. Those are still around, however; the cameras that took them are not. I prefer to keep my addresses and phone number ALSO in a binder with handwritten entries. This way, as unfortunately has happened before, I won't lose everything and have to start all over again. Granted, I also keep that information on my phone along with appointments, e-mail, and everything else that rules our lives, but; I have most of this all WRITTEN down with good ol' paper and pen/pencil.

In the beginning...
I'm actually new to this whole "blog" thing? What IS the definition of "blog"?? Dictionary.com says:
noun
1.
a Web site containing the writer's or group of writers' own experiences, observations, opinions, etc., and often having images and links to other Web sites.
Seems kind of like a diary, or a journal, or an article to me.
So, I guess that I can add just random thoughts and expect people to want to read it, right? We'll see!
I did a "blog" for a little while on a radio station site about scrapbooking, but I just don't think that was the right forum. This blog will be about "a little this... a little that..." so it won't be about anything really in particular from day to day, week to week. One day, it might be a quick tip, and the next day a thought or a rambling about something. Who knows? No rules!
Enjoy your day!
